The SIS (Sistas Intervention Services) Program is a Red Door Service of the Hennepin County Public Health Clinic especially designed to respond to the specific needs and issues of African American women and their partners. We specialize in supporting you to make choices about healthy sexual behavior including discussions about decreasing risks of STD and HIV infection.
At the SIS Program we discuss everything! We can discuss condom negotiation skills, relationship counseling, safer sex methods, HIV risk behaviors, STD awareness… whatever concerns you about your sexual health, concerns us… come in for a confidential chat.
SIS is a part of Red Door Services at the Hennepin County Public Health Clinic, so why not come in for a STD/HIV check up with one of the nurses and ask to see us for a chat while you wait?
If you don’t have time for a chat, but need some supplies (condoms, lube, etc.) we can provide that too… we carry stock of over 20 different types of condoms (ribbed, studded, flavored, contoured, XXL, female condom… etc)! Come and see and try them out!
